Marketing Executive - Role Objective

To support the company in all aspects of the marketing mix to help achieve the aims of the overall growth strategy of Bruce Stevenson. The successful applicant will be reporting into the Marketing Director and also assisting colleagues at all levels of the business with both internal and external promotion of the brand. 


Job Objectives

1.    Brand
•    Ensure the brand is conveyed in a consistent manner.
•    Ensure brand guidelines are followed accurately in all instances.
•    Work with external and internal partners on marketing communication and promotional materials.
•    Ensure the brand is consistent in all areas of communications and printed matter, both internally and externally.
•    Use graphic design software to create images, videos & invites for events, website, and social media.


2.    Website
•    Manage all aspects of content on the website.
•    Manage and review SEO performance of the website.
•    Use SEO tools to maximise the content to rank high on search engines.
•    Monitor and track website analytics on a number of platforms.
•    Resolve and/or escalate technical issues as and when they arise.
•    Identify and execute opportunities for lead generation.
•    Provide regular performance reports. 
•    Ensure there is a clear customer journey for the best user experience.


3.    Internal Communications
•    Administer and coordinate internal communications and business updates.
•    Work with internal partners and management to produce regular communications.

4.    Events Management 
•    Online and in-person event management support for departments.
•    Work with departments to ensure all marketing collateral follows brand guidelines.
•    Liaise with departments to enable maximum exposure and effective brand presence.

5.    Sponsorship 
•    Ensure correct procedures are in place and used for recording and reviewing activity.
•    Working with departments to maximise the return from sponsorship opportunities.

6.    Social Media 
•    Ensure timely and relevant content is posted with regular cadence appropriate to each channel.
•    Ensure staff members are using correct branding on their company affiliated accounts.
•    Monitor and track performance on each platform and build on successful content.
•    Identify and execute opportunities for lead generation and brand awareness.


7.    Content/Blog Programme
•    Work with departments on the creation of online content.
•    Assist colleagues with writing pieces of content and source accompanying imagery.
•    Explore guest bloggers.
•    Ensure all content is shared on website and social media channels
•    Creation of case studies for the website.

8.    Email Marketing
•    Manage subscriber lists to comply with GDPR.
•    Manage company announcements, event invites and other ad hoc email communications.

9.    Competitor Analysis
•    Provide competitor analysis for senior management, and business planning for marketing campaigns 

10.    3rd Party and Strategic Partners
•    Fully maximise benefits from external partnerships and act as administrator and go-between for these relationships in attending meetings when appropriate.

Skills Required:

•    Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to.
•    Strong ability to work both independently and in teams.
•    Ability to liaise with colleagues when appropriate.
•    Ability to report to senior colleagues and Directors when appropriate.
•    Ability to construct effective written communication.
•    Confident and effective telephone skills.
