As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to disrupt business across the world, we would like to share some information for our clients running Energy Generator (Electricity and Heat) projects.
One of our selected insurers, Royal Sun Alliance (RSA), has acknowledged that some of their policyholders may face challenges relating to compliance with the maintenance condition found within their RSA policy wording.
Specifically, the regular scheduled maintenance or servicing of their Energy Generator equipment is performed by a recognised specialist supplier. As recommended by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
However, due to current government guidelines on social distancing measures and restriction of travel, locating and arranging the visit of a recognised specialist supplier could prove to be difficult.
