By Jean Arnott-Glennie, Farms & Estates Account Executive
Spring is on its way, and what better way to celebrate the lighter days and all things farming than by coming to the first show of the year; the Royal Northern Agricultural Society (RNAS) Spring Show on 27th February, in Thainstone, Inverurie.
Bruce Stevenson are once again one of the show's general sponsors, renewing our commitment both to this event and the RNAS. This sponsorship is hot on the heels of our latest office in the Main Street in Turriff being rebranded. This is in addition to our current offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Borders, making BSIB that largest independent broker in Scotland, but still with the local premises. We are pleased that Ian and Shane, from Youngson’s Insurance Consultants, along with their team joined BSIB last year; and the Spring Show heralds the first of many events this year with our stronger presence in the North East.
Away from the show preparations, the Farming Team have been busy negotiating enhanced covers and bespoke farming policy wordings for our own Agricultural Insurance facility, which will only be available via BSIB. Our aim is always to be looking for innovative ways where we can add value to our client’s business. We plan to launch this exciting new development very shortly.
On the day, both Jean Arnott-Glennie and Shane Watt from our Farming and Estates team will be at our stand in the marquee. We are hoping that the “Beast from the East” does not make a return visit, remembering that in 2018, Scotland experienced its first red weather warning being issued by the Met Office.
So, whether BSIB look after all or some of your insurance needs currently; why not visit our stand on the 27th Feb; grab a coffee and find out how we could help your business and about the new and exciting developments that are being planned.
