We'd like to advise visitors to our Edinburgh office to be aware of current traffic inconvenience in the area. After a recent inspection from the City of Edinburgh Council, the bridge at the junction of Great Junction Street, North Junction Street, Ferry Road and Coburg Street is in need of repair.
Refurbishment works have started this week and are due to run for up to 10 weeks, with an estimated finish date of 13th March. The bridge will only be open to Northbound traffic with Southbound traffic being diverted via Coburg Street, Sandport Place, Henderson Street and will then re-join Junction Street. Coburg Street will become one way only and vehicular access to the office may be affected. Traffic will only be able to come down Coburg Street from the lights at the top of the road.
Buses travelling from the City centre / Leith Walk area will turn up Ferry Road and stop at the first stop, or continue along North Great Junction Street and stop at the usual stops. Please see Lothian Buses Service Update for a list of affected services.
Car travel to the office from City Centre/Waverly Station or the Ferry Road/Ocean Terminal area may take a little longer, due to the diversions and one-way system in place.
Please visit the City of Edinburgh Council website for further information on the roadworks or feel free to get in touch with us if you need assistance getting to the office.
